Training

Do you think you have what it takes to be a professional wrestler? Now's your chance to find out!

Introducing the Real Quality Wrestling Training Facility

Based at RQW House in Dagenham, Essex the school offers training courses in many aspects of professional wrestling including wrestling, refereeing, commentating and technical training in camera work, vision mixing and programme production amongst others.

The RQW wrestling training is based on the well respected WAW curriculum and includes basic, intermediate and advanced training with continuous assessment. The school's Head Trainer is 'England's Rose' Sweet Saraya, with almost two decades of experience in professional wrestling both in the UK and abroad.

Beginners start at level B3, and will work their way through levels B2 and B1 via ongoing assessment until they reach the intermediate level I3. Progress through I2 and I1 will also be determined by assessment, and intermediate trainees will start having some involvement in shows. The currently achieved level will be reflected in the membership card which will be constantly updated . Advanced trainees will also work through 3 levels, although they may also be actively working on shows according to their abilities.

Trainees who join the school after being trained elsewhere will be assessed to establish their starting position in the school. The assessor's decision is final.

Referee courses are run monthly with Head Referee Trainer Steve Lynskey who has worked for most major promotions around the UK and visiting international promotions including Ring of Honor and NOAH.

His classes include both theory and practical elements and all students are given the opportunity to referee trainee's matches and be critiqued by Steve.

The next RQW training session takes place on June 20th 2009 from 9am to 5pm however Group 1 is now full and we are unable to accept any more students on this class. RQW operates it's training in this manner so, unlike many other training schools, students are not held back by new students joining every session and are therefore able to progress effectively.

We are however planning on starting Group 2 in the near future which will be run on the second Saturday of each month from 9am to 5pm at a cost of £30. If you are interested in joining the RQW Training School please register your interest by emailing training@realqualitywrestling.tv Similarly, you may also wish to stop by RQW House on June 20th to observe the Group 1 class as they are put through their paces.

We also offer media training in our editing suites and sound recording studio on a regular basis. For those looking for media experience or to get into wrestling outside of the ring we always have opportunities to be trained as part of our camera crew or editing team. For more information please get in touch.
